We love all musicals and our Matilda Musical Dance Party was no exception! Matilda is an especially great theme for a dance party, with loads of young people already knowing the book and the film.
The birthday girl in the video above chose the song ‘Naughty’ from Matilda. It’s a great song to be a bit cheeky with, and who doesn’t love being a little bit naughty sometimes? Their dance was fun to create and the end dance shows their enjoyment.

Dance Moves
We choreograph own own dance moves to the song of your choice. We don’t copy the dance straight from the songs/musicals that you already know. So we can adapt the dance for all ages and abilities and make it achievable for everyone at the party.
If you love to make up dances yourself, we can give you time in the dance routine for some amazing freestyle, or group dances with your friends!
Dressing Up
Dressing up for your party is really good fun. It’s not essential, but the photos and end dance video looks even more spectacular.
Your dance party teacher also dresses up in the theme of the musical.
Fun Fact
Dance Party boss Olivia’s son was one of the babies in the early scenes of the 2022 Matilda film. Filmed when he was just 4 months old, he was chosen as one of the babies that they look down on in the hospital scene. Olivia had to keep doing funny faces to him, to keep him still and looking engaged and he laughed (as did everyone else) and you can see him smiling in the film!
