Dance is an excellent way for children to keep fit and active, and it also leaves you with a great sense of personal achievement.

When done at a party it is also very inclusive and a great way to promote group participation irrespective of ability, and kids really bond with each other and make new friends.

The total cost depends on lots of factors.

If it’s live or online, the length of your party, how many guests you will have, if we need to bring an assistant too, and if you want us to include the mini makeovers etc.  Please contact us with your enquiry and we will give you a quote for your specific party.

Online party prices:

We will teach you live, in a real time and you can be anywhere in the UK.

30min party (best suited for younger children) £50.00 total

45min party £75

1hr party £100

Face to face dance parties for up to 20 children:

These are our London prices below for a standard party. If you are far out of London the prices might be slightly higher and there may also be an added cost to cover our travel.

If you are having 20 children or less at your party, we will provide one dance teacher

• 1 hour party price £150
• 1.5 hour party price £170
• 2 hour party price £200

Assistant

If you have over 20 children we will need to provide an assistant as well as the main teacher. This is vital to help things run smoothly.

• This is an extra cost of £80-130 depending on your location and the length of the party.

For hen parties:

The prices below are for a face to face hen party lasting 1.5hrs

• £15.00 per hen (minimum of £100 if you have less than 7 hens)
• The bride goes free!

These prices do not include dance space hire or travel costs if it is out of London. So let us know if yo need us to book a dance studio and we can let you know what these extra costs will be.

For Online hen parties the cost is £10 per hen for an hour’s party

For School Dance Workshops

Prices start from:

• £225 for a half day workshop (2.5hrs)
• £350 for a whole day workshop (from 9am till 3.15pm)

This doesn’t include travel costs, but these are kept to a minimum.

Bat and Bar Mitzvahs:

These parties have so many variables! So please contact us with your specific requirements for a tailor made quote for your party.

Yes! The good thing about an online party is that we are not limited by location. So we can bring our online parties to you, wherever you are in the UK or abroad.

We use platforms like Zoom, Teams, Skype, Google Classrooms and we can share our meetings, or join yours – it’s up to you.

We play a dance game and then teach a main routine to a song or theme of your choice.

There is no limit on numbers joining in, and it’s a set cost for the length of party you want.

30min party – £40

45min party – £45

1hr party – £55

Quite simply we will come to you.

Dance Parties is based in North London but we are used to travelling a lot in our job, so we are happy to drive further afield or get a train to your party.

Whether it’s a room or studio you’ve hired, a school hall, a large living room or a sunny back garden. We can fit Dance Parties around you.

We do different lengths of parties. The longer the party, the more involved with the games and dance it is:

• 1hr
• 1.5hrs
• 2hrs

If your party is over an hour long, we recommend a break in the middle for a drink/party food (as we’ll get pretty hot!). Then we do the second half finishing in a performance.

If you want to have the party food in the middle then that is included in our time, as long as we get a cheese and pineapple chunk on a stick too – yum!

Yes, if you want to perform at the end of a party that’s great as it gives a lovely end and climax to your party.

Whatever you have learnt, we can do an informal sharing to parents and friends at the end of the party. Feel free to film your little stars. Or if you don’t want to perform, that’s totally fine too, just let us know.

We have a big team of party teachers and we match your party to the best teacher for it.

All our teachers are very experienced and are fabulous professional dancers and teachers!

Most are female, but if you’d prefer a male teacher let me know. Once your party is booked we will send you the contact details and a photo of your teacher, so you know who to expect one the day.

We will bring the music and speakers with us.

All our music is suitable for young ears with no swearing (not an easy thing to find these days).

The youngest parties we do is six years old, and there is no upper age limit – dance is for everyone!

We tailor the dance content to the specific party, and make it suitable for that age group. For example a six year old party will be very different to a 15 year old one, or a hen party.

Anything comfortable to dance in.

Trainers or bare feet is best.

Or you could do a fancy dress theme for example Pop stars, Disney or Disco!

Your party teacher will also come dressed up in your chosen theme, so let us know what the theme is so we can raid our wardrobes…

Yes, we can do mini make overs for the children if you would like. This usually happens at the start of the party as the guests are arriving.

Mini makeovers for the girls include: sparkly makeup and a metalic temporary tattoo.

We require a deposit when you book your party, this is usually £50.00, and it secures your party date.

A bank transfer is our preferred method of payment.

We require the balance on the day of the party, either in cash or cheque to your party teacher, or by bank transfer.

We do love to take a group photo at the end of our dance parties, and some of these may go onto our Facebook page and Twitter (@DPDancer) as there is no better advertising then seeing children having fun at our parties.

But of course we realise not everyone wants to be on social media and we respect this.

So please tell us before the party starts and we will make sure no pics are taken.

But if you want to take your own pictures of us in action that’s fine, we are right posers! Be sure to tag ‘Dance Parties’ though if you do put it up.

Sorry we don’t provide party bags.

Every teacher who works for Dance Parties has dance insurance which covers participants in our care, and we also all have a current DBS checks.

We can send you these documents in advance if you require them, just ask.
