People often ask us for party bunting to decorate their venues, and so I decided to get crafty and make some. I love sewing and I usually have a creative project on the go, so I really enjoyed making these.
I had some felt material left over from a dance costume I had made, so I used that for the party bunting. Felt doesn’t fray which means I didn’t have to hem the individual triangles, therefore making it so much quicker to make.
It measures 20meters in total, and it comes in three sections.
Using ribbon with a bit of sparkle in it to join the triangles together, I think really lifts it all and makes it twinkle in the sunlight.
I love the bright colours, and it is neutral for a girl or a boy’s party – or a grown up one for that matter!
